Ive been wanting to come here for a grilled cheese since lockdown! Fresh and delicious and really brightened up a gray day

Cute little place in the Coal Drops mall near Kings Cross. The grilled cheese was very tasty and quite filling. Staff was friendly and attentive, but not hovering, which was nice. Lunch mid-week wasn’t crowded but still doing a good business.

Morty & Bobs’s never lets me down, a cracking grilled cheese, treat yourself and add some fries and pickle to the sandwich and thank me later. The service was lovely, attentive without being obtrusive.

A brilliant spot in King’s Cross! Morty & Bob’s has such a great atmosphere relaxed, stylish, and perfectly tucked away inside Coal Drops Yard. We stopped by for lunch and everything was spot-on. The steak sandwich was juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour, paired nicely with crispy fries. The Caesar salad was fresh, creamy, and generous in portion. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the whole place has a nice buzz ideal for a casual lunch or weekend bite. Prices are reasonable for the quality (£20–30 pp), and the overall vibe makes it easy to spend a few hours just enjoying good food and conversation. Highly recommend for anyone around King’s Cross looking for modern comfort food done right.

Had the smash burger which was very good. The truffle fries were also good - fresh, crunchy and unmistakably 'Truffly'. Would definitely try the burger again which was easily as good as many places that specialise in Burgers only. Service was good and they had a guest beer as well as some non alcoholic options.

Came to London again. With my mum and my brother and his girlfriend. Waiting time is reasonable. Food is extremely good, don't get me wrong it's not luxurious but it is definitely well served dishes worthy of the title Gordon Ramsay would say: very very nice. Baby friendly place also. They have baby stools. Price is also reasonable.
